Description:
Class Series #4
This class is for dogs who have completed Nose Work Introduction/Nose Work Foundations and Nose Work Introduction to Odor. It is the fourth in a series of six classes, any of which may be repeated until your dog meets the graduation criteria. This class will focus on searching for unpaired hides to progress towards becoming odor obedient on all three NACSW target odors (Birch, Anise and Clove). The class will continue to develop handler skills and will increase searching challenges. Class will focus on all four search elements: Container, Interior, Vehicle, and Exterior searches which are required in a K9 Nose Work NW1 Trial. Final test to graduate to Nose Work Advanced is passage of mock ORT (Birch, Anise and Clove), passage of an official NACSW ORT, or instructor approval. $260 for six-class series. Each class is approximately 60 to 90 minutes depending on the number of students.
All classes held at FDSA Ranch in Petaluma.
