301-RD Bull Breed Basics

Are you a bully breed lover who would like to train with fellow bully enthusiasts and learn more about these unique dogs? This class is meant to give owners of Bully Breeds and Bully Breed mixes a head start on some basic attention and handler focus to get handler and dog ready for Family Dog 1.  This class is not a substitute for Family Dog 1, nor does every Bully Breed need this class. In this 3 week series, you will learn about some of the unique behaviors these breeds typically exhibit that can be interpreted as aggressive or rude.  Behaviors such as staring, rough play styles, and not allowing for customary personal space can all be misread and cause problems in the doggy world.  Taking this course will give you a little more support, give you skills and time to practice specific tools, and ensure you are comfortable when you begin Family Dog 1. Relevant breeds and breed mixes are: Boxers, Bulldogs, Pit Bulls, Staffordshire terriers, Rottweilers and Mastiffs. This 3 week series is $75 and is for dogs 4 months or older.  A 1-hour virtual orientation will be emailed and you will need to complete this and start some homework prior to the first class!  Overly reactive dogs are not suited for this class.  Please see Reactive Dog Consulting options here.
