220-FD Decoding Your Dog Webinar 10/25/2025

Spots Available: 12
Description:

What's your dog trying to tell you?

As humans we pick up on the loud or obvious communication signals our dogs send (bark, growl, paw, lunge), but these barely scratch the surface of what our dogs are thinking and feeling. And many of the signals we think we understand may mean something entirely different!

Understanding dog body language is essential for guardians who want to help their dogs overcome fear and anxiety, and avoid aggressive responses. For others, it's a way to strengthen your relationship with your dog or puppy and support their development into confident, focused, and content family members.

Join Yuching Desch, Marin Humane dog training instructor and Certified Dog Behavior Consultant for an in-depth look at:

  • Canine body language for all moods
  • Cutoff signals (or how the dog says "no" politely before the growl/lunge)
  • Indications of fear or anxiety before a fight-or-flight response
  • When to intervene to avoid an aggressive response
  • Types of aggression
  • Fostering trust

This webinar is appropriate for guardians at all experience levels and for all types of dogs, from the mostly-happy-go-lucky to shy and shutdown to fear-aggressive. It's also appropriate for anyone who works with dogs, including veterinary staff, groomers, dog walkers, and pet sitters.

Webinar is $25 and runs 2 hours, including plenty of time to answer your questions. A recording will be available if you can't join live. Zoom login instructions will be provided 1 week before the webinar.
