107 - Senior Handling 11/18/2017 - 12/16/2017

Spots Available: 4
Description: Senior Handling is for senior citizens (62+) and people with disabilities who need a high level of support and a slower pace than the typical Family Dog classes. Not an obedience class, Senior Handling is a 4-week program designed to help older or disabled people train their dogs so that both can remain safe and comfortable at home. The topics covered are tailored to the individual needs of participants and usually address issues such as jumping up, pulling on the leash, maintaining good house training habits, and providing sufficient exercise and environmental enrichment. The team of experienced senior instructors who lead this course can also aid in acclimating dogs to walkers or canes.

For dogs 4 months and older. PLEASE REFER TO THE CLASS CONFIRMATION EMAIL FOR IMPORTANT INFORMATION ON WHAT TO BRING TO THE FIRST CLASS. $60 for 4 weeks. Limited to 4 dogs/handlers.
